What is your everyday routine to prevent varicose veins?
I have to admit, I have been struggling with the varicose veins since I was a teenager.
I shared my worries of not pleasant looking legs with my doctor, who did not really satisfy me with the solution, blaming the genetics and offering a possible future surgery. I declined that option and let it be. Few years after I accepted a job requiring to be on my feet for many hours. Troubles with varicose veins started to bother me again. I realized the veins are becoming more visible. I started to look for solution. Do you know what works for me?
I have few tips to share with you:
- Choose a healthy diet.
- Wear supportive or compression stockings.
- Use cold showers. They boost you with the energy.
- Avoid prolonged time of sittings or standing.
